I am working with an excellent school that is looking for an Assistant Headteacher. In addition to the responsibilities of a teacher, this role will play a major part in the overall direction of the school, including strategy, staff responsibilities, and policy establishment.

As an inspirational leader, you will support the Headteacher and Deputy Headteacher in driving high-quality education through consistent and effective leadership. You will assist in shaping the school's culture and establishing high standards of education.

1. Significant experience with a record of excellent teaching and a desire to step into a leadership role.
2. Leadership of an area, phase, or inclusion, including responsibility for raising standards across the whole school.
3. You will have a proven track record of raising achievement.
4. Evidence of impact beyond your own area of responsibility.
5. Experience of teaching in more than one key stage within a primary setting.
6. Experience of leading initiatives within the school alongside the Headteacher and leadership team.
7. Demonstration of high expectations, including leading by example as a teacher.
8. Evidence of contributing to effective staff training, both on an individual and whole-school level.
9. Understanding of learning concerning the stages of basic skills development of children.
