This is a great opportunity for an Assistant Headteacher who is looking for the chance to bring innovation and creativity to inspire learning in an SEN environment for pupils with varied and complex needs. Your work will be challenging and rewarding, and you will be the custodian of our strong safeguarding culture, where pupils are listened to, respected, and involved in decisions.
In partnership with our Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team, you will provide clear, authentic leadership to our multidisciplinary team, establish school aims and objectives, ensure high quality and compliance, and develop individualized programmes of learning for our pupils.
We seek an Assistant Headteacher with the experience, leadership skills, and vision to build futures by empowering students in the UK to be happy and successful.
Applicants should be educated to degree level or equivalent with Qualified Teacher Status, experienced in an SEN environment, enjoy leading a team, and be motivated to help every pupil reach their potential.
Upton Grange School caters to pupils aged 3-11 years old, offering Early Years, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2 education. We employ various teaching strategies to engage learners with diverse learning difficulties, working towards an Equals Semi-Formal Curriculum and National Curriculum expectations where appropriate.
The school is located in Slough, within walking distance from the rail station and accessible from Maidenhead, Twickenham, and surrounding areas.
