Assistant Head Teacher - KS2 (class share) & subject lead – Islington 2FE Primary School – Sept 24

We are partnering with a diverse, community-focused, and well-led primary school in the Borough of Islington. The SLT and governors are looking for an Assistant Head Teacher / AHT for September 2024.

If successful, you will work alongside a talented leadership team, joining the KS2 team (class share), leading Maths or English across the school.

Previous experience leading either Maths or English is desirable and an advantage.

The executive leadership team is looking for an AHT who:

• Has experience teaching and leading across KS2
• Has led Maths or English
• Has a strong record of improving teaching & learning
• Can model best practices
• Maintains high standards & quality classroom practice
• Communicates effectively with parents
• Works well as part of a team

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist as an AHT

Person Specification:
