Job Title: Assistant Headteacher (Maternity Cover)
Salary: Up to £46,000.00 per annum dependent on experience (not pro rata)
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8am - 4pm
Contract: Fixed Term (Maternity Cover until August 2026), Term Time only
As part of our continued growth, we now have a fantastic opportunity for an Assistant Headteacher - Curriculum to join our close-knit team at Underley Garden School, part of Options Autism.
To ensure effective curriculum delivery and high-quality teaching and learning, and to ensure that the curriculum meets all statutory requirements.
Lead on attainment and progress to achieve outstanding outcomes for all children and young people, and lead curriculum innovation and design appropriate for our cohorts and in line with the school vision.
Lead on the effective implementation of the curriculum and to lead on aspects of professional development related to curriculum, teaching and learning, and quality assurance.
Underley Garden School is a large school with small class sizes, focusing on pupils aged 5-19 with complex needs related to autism and learning disabilities. We adopt a holistic, person-centred approach to help pupils achieve their potential, offering education, care, and therapy tailored to individual needs.
