As the successful Assistant Head Teacher, your responsibilities will include:

Supporting the Headteacher and SLT in the strategic and operational leadership of the school

Leading on a whole-school responsibility area such as Teaching & Learning, Behaviour, or Curriculum

Contributing to school improvement planning and quality assurance processes

Line-managing a team of staff and mentoring middle leaders

Promoting a positive and inclusive school environment that reflects the school’s values

Developing strong partnerships with parents, carers, and external agencies

To be considered for this Assistant Head Teacher role, you should:

Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with substantial leadership experience

Have a proven track record of raising standards and improving outcomes

Be a strong communicator with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
