Star Academies is seeking a dedicated pastoral support role at Laisterdyke Leadership Academy in Bradford. The successful candidate will help foster a caring and supportive learning environment for our young people and place welfare at the heart of the school.

Experience in pastoral care, strong communication and the ability to engage with groups of students and staff is essential. You will work as part of a team committed to providing excellent customer service to our community.

Formación

• 5 GCSEs including English and Maths at grade 9-4/A*- C.
• Experience of working with young people in an education setting.
• Experience of providing Mental Wellbeing, SEMH, SEND or counselling support to students or young people.
• The ability to maintain positive relationships with students and other adults.
• The ability to speak in front of large groups of students and small groups of staff.

About Laisterdyke Leadership Academy

Laisterdyke Leadership Academy is a secondary school in Bradford. We joined Star Academies in 2016 and, like all Star schools, we have a leadership specialism.

The school was rated ‘good’ in all four areas of the inspection framework during its inspection in January 2023.
