What You’ll Do:

1. Lead & Innovate – Support the Head of Science in delivering an outstanding science curriculum, fostering a love for the subject across all key stages.
2. Inspire & Educate – Engage students with creative, high-quality lessons that promote scientific curiosity and achievement.
3. Support & Develop – Mentor and guide fellow teachers, sharing best practices and championing professional growth.
4. Drive Excellence – Contribute to department strategy, curriculum planning, and student success through data-driven improvements.

What We’re Looking For:

• A qualified science teacher with QTS and experience teaching at KS3 & KS4 (KS5 desirable)
• Proven leadership experience or a strong desire to take on additional responsibility
• A passion for science education and a commitment to raising student attainment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to support both students and staff
• A proactive approach to innovation in teaching and learning
• Enhanced DBS and on the update service
