About us

St. Mary’s is a Church of England and is part of the ODBST, teaching children between the ages of 4 and 11 years. As a Church of England School, we offer a commitment to high academic standards together with a very caring ethos and family atmosphere. Our children enjoy a broad and balanced curriculum and leave the school as confident young people who are well prepared for the challenges of secondary school.

We are looking for an Assistant Head of Inclusion with shared teaching responsibility (2 days AH/3 days in class) who is an excellent communicator and will use these skills to build powerful relationships within the school, the wider community, and the Trust family of schools. They must also be driven to provide professional leadership and manage the SENDCO & FLO, ensuring that the standards of provision and professional practice in the school promote the very best outcomes for all children.

A successful candidate should have high aspirations and be accountable for high standards of teaching, learning, and curriculum standards achieved across the school. Our chosen candidate will embrace and promote the essential Christian ethos of the school while respecting and valuing those of all faiths and world views.
