We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Head of Department (Inclusion) to join our Supported Learning Development. We have three roles available across three campuses.
You will join us on a full-time basis, receiving a competitive salary of £44,409 per annum, plus staff benefits.
Weekly Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
This role involves working collaboratively with the Head of Department, other Assistant Heads, Lecturers, and Technicians to coordinate daily activities. You will focus on embedding equality, diversity, and inclusion practices, ensuring students with SEND and High Needs receive a personalized curriculum that integrates English and Maths within vocational learning and across the department.
You will be responsible for staffing, maximizing learning support timetables, and ensuring high achievement levels. You will implement personalized curricula for students with High Needs, champion inclusivity, and model inclusive practices.
Your management style should foster collaboration, resource planning, and support for mentors to enable all students to reach their potential, including those with high needs.
