As an Assistant Head Housekeeper, reporting to the Head Housekeeper, you will support your team in the daily operations of the housekeeping department.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Checking rooms to company standards
  • Improving productivity and efficiency of room cleaning
  • Analyzing guest data to plan resources and materials
  • Maintaining strong relationships with the GM, hotel team, housekeeping team, and suppliers
  • Identifying ways to enhance guest satisfaction
  • Adhering to health and safety policies, maintaining neat and organized work areas (COSHH/Manual Handling)
  • Recruiting, training, managing, and monitoring team performance
  • Exceeding financial targets
  • Managing expenditure and payroll within budget
  • Participating in training to improve skills and performance
  • Solving routine on-the-job challenges
