Job summary

Palé Hall is seeking an Assistant Head Housekeeper to lead the Housekeeping team and deputise for the Head in a busy hotel setting. The role is full time, 40 hours per week, with two shifts across 8am–8:30pm, seven days a week, requiring flexibility.

The successful candidate will be a versatile team player with a hands-on approach, excellent attention to detail and the confidence to motivate full-time and part-time staff to consistently maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and guest

Palé Hall's Housekeeping team delivers the highest standards of service, comfort and cleanliness to our guests. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Head Housekeeper to lead the team and deputise in the absence of the Head Housekeeper.

The right candidate for this position will be a versatile team player who enjoys a hands-on role in a busy hotel, someone who with a keen emphasis on attention to detail and the confidence to support the Head Housekeeper in leading and motivating a department of full time and part time housekeepers. This is a full time role, however you need to be flexible in hours and working days. Housekeeping hours are between 8am and 8.30 pm across two shifts, seven days a week. Previous supervisory experience in a housekeeping environment is preferable, preferably in hospitality. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone with a passion for perfection, who is enthusiastic, attentive and hardworking.

This is a full time permanent position, 40 hours per week, five days over seven.
