Job summary

Palé Hall, part of Relais & Châteaux, in Bala, Wales, seeks an Assistant Head Housekeeper to lead the team and deputise for the Head Housekeeper. The role is full-time with flexibility across two shifts from 8:00 to 20:30, seven days a week, totaling 40 hours per week.

The successful candidate will be a versatile team player with a passion for perfection, ready to motivate staff, supervise a mix of full-time and part-time housekeepers and contribute to outstanding guest experiences.

Qualifications

• At least one year's supervisory experience in housekeeping.
• Hands-on role in a busy hotel environment requiring attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Housekeeping team in servicing guest rooms, suites, lounge areas and cloakrooms to an impeccable standard.
• Support the Head Housekeeper in leading and motivating the department across 40 hours per week.
• Manage and deputise when the Head Housekeeper is absent, ensuring smooth operations.

Palé Hall's Housekeeping team delivers the highest standards of service, comfort and cleanliness to our guests. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Head Housekeeper to lead the team and deputise in the absence of the Head Housekeeper.

The right candidate for this position will be a versatile team player who enjoys a hands-on role in a busy hotel, someone who with a keen emphasis on attention to detail and the confidence to support the Head Housekeeper in leading and motivating a department of full time and part time housekeepers. This is a full time role, however you need to be flexible in hours and working days. Housekeeping hours are between 8am and 8.30 pm across two shifts, seven days a week. Previous supervisory experience in a housekeeping environment is preferable, preferably in hospitality. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone with a passion for perfection, who is enthusiastic, attentive and hardworking.

This is a full time permanent position, 40 hours per week, five days over seven.
