Job summary

PureGym Group in London is seeking an Assistant Gym Manager to help lead a team of fitness professionals, deliver outstanding member service and support growth of membership. You will work with the Gym Manager to maintain high standards and drive engagement.

The role focuses on team development, member experience, and delivering a welcoming, results-driven gym environment. A passion for fitness and wellbeing is essential, with L2 gym instructing qualification and group exercise experience

Qualifications

Experience leading gym teams and delivering excellent member service.
Proven ability to recruit, train and supervise fitness staff.
Experience teaching group exercise is a plus.
Passion for fitness and wellbeing.

Responsibilities

Deliver an excellent member experience in the club through a constant focus on service and standards, alongside the Gym Manager.
Support the Gym Manager to bring in new joiners through activities, club outreach and community events.
Lead a team of Personal Trainers and Fitness Coaches; develop talent and foster a positive work environment.
Provide ongoing training and professional development for fitness staff.
Group Exercise management: enhance the GEX offering within the gym.
