Job summary

PureGym Ltd. in Waltham Cross is looking for an Assistant Gym Manager who combines leadership with a passion for fitness to drive member experience and team development.

You will support the Gym Manager, recruit and supervise a team of Personal Trainers, Fitness Coaches and Gym Instructors, and lead group exercise initiatives. You will engage in outreach and community events to grow membership and uphold PureGym standards.

Qualifications

• L2 qualification in gym instructing (Level 2) and experience teaching group exercise.
• Ability to lead and develop a team of fitness staff.
• Commitment to delivering an excellent member experience and high service standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an excellent member experience focused on service and standards, alongside the Gym Manager.
• Support the Gym Manager to recruit and develop talent through club outreach and events.
• Recruit, train and supervise Personal Trainers, Fitness Coaches and Gym Instructors; foster a positive work environment.
• Provide ongoing training and professional development for fitness staff.
• Group Exercise: manage and improve the GEX offering within the gym.
• Contribute to growth and retention of the membership base.
