Job description

We are searching for an Assistant Manager to join our team!

The Assistant Manager is responsible for helping oversee all gym operations and ensuring exceptional member experiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as backup support for the General Manager
  • Train and develop a high-performing team including Team Members, Certified Fitness Trainers, and Cleaners
  • Maintain a welcoming atmosphere for members, prospects, and guests
  • Oversee cleanliness and maintenance of the club
  • Assist with scheduling and supervision
  • Identify, resolve, or escalate issues involving team members or members
  • Track club and team member statistics
  • Perform other duties related to the team member position

Qualifications:

  • Strong leadership, supervisory, diplomacy, and listening skills
  • Honest, punctual, and dependable
  • CPR/AED certification (training provided if needed)
  • Must be 18 or older
  • At least 1 year of customer service experience, preferably in fitness

Physical Demands:

  • Standing and walking throughout shifts
  • Talking in person or on the phone during shifts
  • Ability to lift up to 60 lbs

Compensation: $16.00 per hour
