Job summary

PureGym Limited is looking for a dynamic fitness leader to join our team. This varied role covers member experience, team development and delivering service standards in the club alongside the Gym Manager.

You will recruit, train and supervise a team of Personal Trainer/Fitness Coaches and Gym Instructors, driving group exercise improvements and staff development while embodying the PureGym Good philosophy.

Qualifications

• L2 qualification in gym instructing is required.
• Experience teaching group exercise.
• Ability to recruit, develop and supervise a team of fitness staff.
• Strong focus on member experience and service standards.
• Demonstrates resilience, integrity and drive to deliver results.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent member experience while maintaining service standards alongside Gym Manager.
• Support Gym Manager to attract new joiners through outreach and community events.
• Lead, recruit, train and supervise Personal Trainers, Fitness Coaches and Gym Instructors.
• Provide ongoing training and development for fitness staff.
• Manage and improve group exercise (GEX) offerings.

Job description

This is a varied role, involved with everything from member experience to team development, you will focus on the following:

• Deliver an excellent member experience in the club through a constant focus on service and standards, alongside the Gym Manager
• Support the Gym Manager to bring in new joiners through different activities, including club outreach and community events
• Team Leadership: Recruit, proactively develop a talent pipeline, train and supervise a team of Personal Trainer/Fitness Coaches and Gym Instructors. Foster a positive and motivating work environment.
• Deliver an excellent member experience in the club through a constant focus on service and standards, alongside the Gym Manager.
• Provide ongoing training and professional development opportunities for fitness staff to enhance their skills and career growth.
• Group Exercise: manage and improve GEX offering within the gym. The ability to help everyone in the gym team be the best version of themselves.
• A passion for fitness and wellbeing.
• Someone who embodies 'Feel PureGym Good' in all that they do.
• A desire to do the right thing. Driving results is important - and how you do this - with resilience, confidence, and integrity is equally vital to success in this role.
• A L2 qualification in gym instructing, and experience teaching group exercise.

Salary

Annual Salary - £27,522
