Candidates should be ACA/CTA qualified with over 5 years of experience in tax compliance and strong IFRS knowledge. Assistant Group Tax Manager - Consumer Sector (PE-Backed). Central London | Hybrid (3 days in office) | Up to £80,000 + Bonus.

About the job
  • Preparing current and deferred tax figures for year-end group reporting
  • Supporting statutory accounts and quarterly tax forecasts
  • Managing global tax compliance processes and third-party engagements
  • Assisting with UK VAT, Pillar Two obligations, and transfer pricing
  • Contributing to tax planning and integration of acquisitions
  • Enhancing tax models and responding to ad hoc tax queries
  • Maintaining tax accounting policies and liaising with tax authorities
About you
  • ACA/CTA qualified with 5+ years' experience in tax compliance and reporting (1 or 2 years in-house would be beneficial)
  • Strong IFRS tax accounting knowledge and UK tax experience
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial systems
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Exposure to international tax and UK VAT
