Are you passionate about the outdoors and take pride in creating well-kept, welcoming spaces?

Our client is seeking a dedicated and skilled Groundskeeper to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the aesthetic appeal and functionality of our outdoor spaces. This role requires a strong understanding of landscape maintenance, as well as the ability to operate various hand and power tools. The Groundskeeper will play a vital role in ensuring that our gardens, lawns, and other outdoor areas are well-kept and inviting.

Are you the right person for the job?

  • Previous experience in groundskeeping or landscape maintenance is preferred, but not essential
  • Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues is advantageous
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while performing physical tasks
  • A keen eye for detail with a passion for maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces
  • Good communication skills to work effectively within a team environment
  • A valid driving licence is required.

What will your role look like?

  • Maintain and care for gardens, lawns, and landscaped areas by performing tasks such as mowing, trimming, and weeding
  • Build and dig as necessary for planting new flora or creating garden features
  • Irrigate plants and ensure proper watering techniques are applied for optimal growth
  • Conduct regular inspections of grounds to identify areas needing attention or improvement
  • Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete landscaping tasks.
  • Assist in the installation of new landscaping features, including trees, shrubs, and flower beds
  • Maintain equipment in good working condition through regular cleaning and basic mechanical knowledge
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure all groundskeeping tasks are completed efficiently
