Job summary

Gardline Limited is seeking an Assistant Commercial Manager – Geotechnical to join its commercial team in the Geotechnical Division. You will review opportunities, develop proposals, and coordinate with Gardline SME teams to hand over awarded projects to the management team.

You will contribute to contract handovers, risk registers, and tender documentation while supporting the department with market insights for the Commercial/Business Development plan.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing tender opportunities and updating tender database.
• Preparing tender responses in collaboration with other Gardline stakeholders, developing contract / commercial / technical risk register, bid price, performance outcomes and supporting tender documentation.
• Presenting well developed offers to management team for review and approval.
• Monitoring timely availability of requested clarifications, informing relevant stakeholders and ensuring submission of clarification documentation within agreed times.
• Supporting the geotechnical department at a commercial, organisational, administrative and project level; providing market, competitive and customer information for developing the Commercial/Business Development plan.
• Preparing and presenting contract handovers to the project management team.
• Contributing to lessons learned through tendering and project phases and updating procedures and templates.
• Representing the Company/Business Unit at meetings, conferences, and exhibitions and building relationships with clients and stakeholders.
