BOOM BATTLE BAR Cambridge is seeking an energetic Assistant General Manager to lead our team and drive the venue’s commercial performance with passion and standards.

You’ll focus on people development, guest experience, and compliance, ensuring health & safety and licensing requirements are met while delivering an exceptional, high-energy hospitality experience in a wet-led environment. You’ll build a capable team to operate brilliantly without you micromanaging.

Job description

We are looking for an energetic, driven and passionate Assistant General Manager to lead our team at BOOM BATTLE BAR Cambridge

People focused leadership is a non-negotiable for us. You’ll be someone who thrives in building a talent pipeline and wants to see your teams evolve and grow.

You’ll play a key role in driving the commercial performance of the venue, from sales and labour to stock, standards and profitability.

You’ll want to drive consistency for upholding brand standards. Specs on point and guest journey will be nothing short of excellent under your guidance!

You’ll be a compliance pro too. From licensing and regulatory requirements to health & safety and our daily Trail standards, you’ll make sure the venue is safe, compliant and operating at 10/10. Safety is out top priority, ensuring everyone in the business is protected.

You’ll thrive in a high-energy, wet-led environment where pace, personality and great hospitality come as standard.

You won't be the person trying to do everything yourself. You'll build a team of people who can deliver brilliantly without you having to be everywhere.
