Very Group is seeking an Assistant Technologist to join our fashion product development team. You will manage products from first fit to production, collaborating with internal design, buying, merchandising and supply base to deliver quality, fit and timely market introduction.

Our own brand technologist team, work in a fast-paced environment and with suppliers across the Far East, Europe and the UK to source and develop great value trend led products for our customers. Reporting into the Technical Manager you will work to ensure that our products are good quality, fit for purpose and safe to sell; whilst also maximizing speed to market, sales and profit and minimizing markdown through low returns.
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Assistant Technologist to join us.
The role is responsible for product development from first fit to production – looking after multi product categories. You will work closely with an internal design team, buying, merchandising and your supply base to develop products.
We’re looking for a candidate who already has product development experience from first fit through to production within fashion and is able to demonstrate an understanding of how to develop a product range with a consistent fit and quality whilst working closely with designers and suppliers.

2nd Stage – A one-hour formal interview where you can expect both competency and technical questions where you will have the opportunity to showcase analytical and commercial skills relevant to the role. This can be held either in-person or remotely.
