University of St Andrews is seeking a dedicated gardener to join the North Haugh Grounds Department. You will maintain fine lawns, borders, meadows, and woodlands as part of an experienced team led by the Grounds Team Leader.

We are looking to appoint anew member to join our gardening service team based at the North Haugh GroundsDepartment.
Youwill work as part of an experienced team lead by the grounds Team leader andwork effectively within your team.
Youwill be responsible for the upkeep of fine lawns, herbaceous borders, opengrassland meadows, natural woodland and all general gardening maintenance.
Experiencein operating modern gardening equipment would be advantageous.
Experiencein Horticultural knowledge would be advantageous along with PA1 /PA6qualification
Youmust have excellent communication skills and a keen and helpful manner.
Theability to cope under pressure and the ability to demonstrate a flexibleapproach without supervision is essential.
Youmust have a sound knowledge of Health and Safety and machinery maintenance.
