Assistant Fund Manager, Real Estate Long Income, Associate Director

Please note this position is based in London and this will be the contractual location of the successful candidate. Other locations cannot be considered.

About the Role

This role is ideal for someone with knowledge and a proven track record in long lease property investments, including reversionary long leases, income strips, and commercial ground rent structures.

Key Responsibilities

• Work alongside Fund Managers, Origination, Asset Management, and Research teams to identify and evaluate investment opportunities for Long Income Funds, including the Lime Property Fund.
• Deliver ESG-focused investment solutions aligned with net zero goals.
• Deploy capital within strategic frameworks, building relationships with public sector entities, real estate agents, investors, valuers, lawyers, construction professionals, and managing agents.
• Source, manage, underwrite, and execute investment transactions, financial structuring, and development funding.
• Support analysts with financial modelling, evaluate strategic fit and value of new opportunities, and prepare internal documentation for approvals.
• Lead comprehensive due diligence processes and collaborate with teams to provide regular reports and client updates.

Required Skills and Experience

• Experience in development funding via project finance or long lease property investment.
• Understanding of long lease structures, accounting, and tax implications; experience with investment acquisition processes and compliance.
• Relevant experience in asset management, analysis, research, or similar roles within the Real Estate industry.
• Commitment to ESG principles, with skills in appraisal, analysis, and financial modelling.
• Degree in Real Estate, Economics, or Finance; professional qualifications (RICS, CFA, IMC, Accountancy) preferred.
