A Day in the Life – Assistant Front Office Manager

As Assistant Front Office Manager, You’ll Support The Front Office Manager In Overseeing All Aspects Of Front Desk Operations. Your Day Will Include

  • Leading by example to ensure smooth check-ins, check-outs, and guest interactions
  • Coaching and developing the Front Office team, including training and daily performance feedback
  • Managing the shift operations and delegating responsibilities effectively
  • Resolving guest concerns with professionalism and care, ensuring satisfaction at every turn
  • Monitoring team performance and guest feedback to drive continuous improvement
  • Supporting administrative tasks such as rotas, reporting, and team communications
  • Ensuring high standards of presentation, service, and cleanliness across the front desk area
  • Working closely with other departments to enhance the overall guest experience

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience in a Front Desk or Guest Services supervisory role, ideally within a hotel environment
  • A guest-first approach with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Confidence in leading a team and motivating others to deliver their best
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Familiarity with hotel PMS systems (Opera Cloud experience is a plus)
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
  • A keen eye for detail and commitment to delivering high service standards
