Job description

Marks Sattin are currently working with a business that has developed a strong reputation as an employer of choice, and have recently promoted from within their finance function and so this role could suit candidates looking to progress and develop into a more senior position as their career evolves.

Reporting into the Senior FP&A Analyst, key duties of the Assistant FP&A Analyst will include:

  • Preparation and consolidating of monthly reporting such as:
  • Management accounts
  • Forecasts
  • Secured Income
  • Utilisation
  • Debtor days
  • Internal global revenue by sector
  • External global revenue by sector and client
  • Internal Key Client and Major Program reporting
  • Assisting with the preparation of financial packs for several global Board meetings and Committees
  • Assisting with ad-hoc reporting using big data from our financial ERP.
  • Reviewing, analysing and challenging submissions from Regional Finance teams to ensure reporting is accurate and timely
  • Always working in accordance with our behavioural values
  • Other ad-hoc reporting and analysis tasks will form a significant part of this role.

To be considered for this role we are looking for candidates with the following:

  • Strong Excel skills are essential to this role
  • Experience within an international organisation is desirable
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to analyse and trend information - not to simply input data into a spreadsheet
  • Confident individual with good interpersonal skills, capable of demonstrating an ability to communicate, present to and challenge effectively with global finance teams
  • Ability to work to set deadlines delivering consistent and accurate information
  • Must be comfortable with working in a fast-moving, dynamic environment
  • Good organisational skills, used to managing and prioritising workload

In return, the successful candidate will receive the following:

£28,000 - £32,000 base salary
