Are you a data-driven thinker with a passion for turning numbers into insights?

Do you enjoy asking the “why” behind business decisions and influencing strategy through analysis? If you're looking to kickstart or elevate your finance career in a dynamic, growing business—this could be your next big move.

At Jensten Group, we’re looking for an ambitious and curious individual to join our FP&A team. Reporting to a Senior FP&A Business Partner, you’ll play a key role in delivering commercial insights and supporting strategic decision-making across the business, including working closely with our Executive team.

You’ll be based in our London office on Mondays, with the flexibility to work from home or the office for the rest of the week—whatever works best for you.

Some key objectives & responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborate with the business and the Senior FP&A Business Partner to develop and track performance against the Financial Plan/Forecast (financial modelling, setting up processes, creating timetables)
  • Work with your business stakeholders to understand what key levers are required to achieve their goals and develop KPIs to track and measure performance
  • Provide insightful analysis to highlight risks, opportunities, and actionable recommendations
  • Support new initiatives with robust business case tracking and performance monitoring
  • Help drive sound commercial and financial decision-making across the business

About you

We’re seeking someone with prior experience in a financial analysis role, ideally within a relevant industry such as insurance, financial services, or professional services. You’ll bring:

  • AAT, ACA, CIMA, ACCA qualification (or working towards one), or a finance/business degree.
  • Proven experience working in a finance function, with exposure to planning, forecasting, or performance analysis
  • Excellent excel skills that allow you to produce analysis and work with large data sets
  • A collaborative, curious mindset with the confidence to challenge and ask questions
  • Good communication skills—both written and verbal
  • A record of producing high quality work and have a strong attention to detail
  • The type of person that values precision and understands the importance of reliable data and meeting deadlines
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines

When you join us, you can expect a supportive culture and an attractive range of rewards and benefits which include:

  • Competitive salary with an annual pay review and bonus scheme.
  • 27 days annual leave (includes a day off for your birthday and another for a religious holiday of your choice) + bank holidays
  • Auto enrolment into our excellent pension scheme (5% employer matched contribution)
  • Flex-benefits - A range of flexible benefits to choose from, that are most important to you
  • Group Life Assurance cover
  • 3 months Maternity, Paternity & Adoption leave all fully paid
  • Professional qualification study support relevant to your role and career
  • Perks at work - amazing discounts on cinema tickets, meals out, luxury items etc.
  • Holiday purchase scheme - up to 5 days annually

About Jensten:

Launched in 2018, Jensten is one of the UK's largest independent broking groups. Growing organically and through strategic acquisition, we now place over £600m GWP into the market via our retail insurance broking, Lloyd's and London Market broking, and specialist underwriting arms.

We fill the void in the market between a consolidator and a provincial broker. We have the scale, ambition, and expertise to stand out, but the people, culture, and entrepreneurial DNA to maintain our client focus. Which is why we are not just one of the leading independent broking groups, but also one of the most exciting.
