About Ingenuity Finance

The Ingenuity finance team supports the senior management with operational, commercial, and financial targets, involving reporting, stakeholder collaboration, and process improvements.

About the Role

We are recruiting an Assistant Financial Controller for THG Eco within our Ingenuity Department. Reporting to the Head of Finance, this role offers visibility and growth opportunities.

Responsibilities:

• Monthly P&L management, journal posting, and review across multiple businesses
• Balance sheet management for divisions and legal entities
• Weekly forecasting and detailed commentary with decentralized teams
• Fixed asset register management
• Payroll proposal review
• Monthly management reports for stakeholders
• Quarterly reforecasting and annual budgeting
• Facilitating communication between finance and commercial teams
• Enhancing reporting and financial models
• Supporting divisional audits
• Providing financial insights to stakeholders
• Improving controls around month-end and year-end processes

Requirements:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)
• Experience in fast-paced environments
• Proficiency in Excel and finance systems
• Quick learner with proactive approach
• Strong planning and organizational skills
• Ability to engage with senior stakeholders
• Hands-on approach
