Job summary

Liberty Recruitment Group is partnering with a client to recruit an Assistant Financial Controller for a full-time, permanent role in the UK. The role offers up to £40,000 and involves supporting financial reporting, reconciliations, direct debit administration, and process improvements.

You will work in a close-knit finance team, overseeing collection runs, liaising with banking partners, and assisting with monthly group reporting and year-end audits.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role with solid month-end processes.
• Experience using Sage 50 would be advantageous.
• Strong Excel skills and excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Oversee regular collection runs and ensure reporting and administration are completed accurately.
• Act as main point of contact with banking partner for efficient changes.
• Support monthly bordereaux submissions and reconciliations for Underwriter Finance.
• Assist Financial Controller with monthly Group reporting requirements.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and maintain strong financial controls.
• Maintain accurate fixed asset records and registers; ensure revenue is recorded correctly.
