Job Title: Assistant Financial Accountant

Location: London

Salary: £35k- £40k

Contract Length: 12 month FTC

Job Type: Office based

We are currently partnered with a Financial Services company who are looking for an Assistant Finance Accountant to join their finance team in London.

Key responsibilities:

1. Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
2. Support month-end and year-end close processes.
3. Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy of financial data.
4. Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
5. Maintain and update financial records.
6. Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial compliance.
7. Provide support during audits and tax filings.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
3. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
5. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
7. Strong communication skills.
