What can you expect?

  • Lead the design and ongoing maintenance of the fixed asset register.
  • Ensure timely capitalisation, accuracy, and IFRS compliance.
  • Deliver clear, accurate fixed asset reports for internal teams.
  • Track all asset transactions, acquisitions, disposals, impairments, using modern data tools.
  • Reconcile fixed asset data across finance and operational systems.
  • Ensure depreciation aligns with capitalisation dates, useful life, and component methodology.
  • Reconcile fixed asset-related balance sheet accounts.
  • Support monthly reporting, statutory accounts, and audit processes.
  • Assist in regulatory submissions and consolidation reporting.

What skillset will you bring?

  • Degree in Accountancy & Finance with at least 12 months experience OR PQ/Finalist.
  • Proven, hands-on expertise in fixed asset accounting (desirable)
  • Proficiency in financial systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP platforms, along with advanced Excel capabilities.
  • Be collaborative, adaptable, and accountable in your approach to work.
  • Demonstrate strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Work effectively both independently and as part of a team, identifying key issues and taking initiative to resolve them.
