Adult Social Care covers people receiving care in their own house (non-Residential) or people who are living in a care home (Residential).

We are looking for dynamic and enthusiastic people to join our existing service as an Assistant Finance Officer. It is an exciting opportunity to work in a busy, fast paced team responsible for delivering our payment and billing functions across social care.

The role is principally responsible for administrative tasks relating to the accurate and timely processing of Adult Social Care charges. This involves accurate billing of charges to care recipients and payments to care providers, managing system records and liaison with financial representatives.

You will provide operational support to Finance Officers and other colleagues, as well as collaborating with internal stakeholders to continuously improve our processes and provide excellent customer service.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for you to have:

  1. Good communication skills
  2. The ability to work well in a team and provide excellent customer service.
  3. The ability to deliver accurate and timely completion of work.
  4. Competency in using computer systems.
  5. Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
  6. The ability to work flexibly to meet business need.
