Trial Balance Consulting is recruiting an Assistant Finance Manager for a full-time, permanent role in Hayle. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will support day-to-day accounting on a Sage-based platform and help supervise two finance staff while assisting with management accounts and cashflow monitoring.

This role suits an AAT-qualified or part-qualified professional, or someone with equivalent experience, and offers the chance to contribute to a respected charity and oversee payroll and

• Qualified or part-qualified in accounting with exposure to charity sector.
• Experience using a Sage-based platform for financial processing.
• Ability to supervise a small finance team and assist with management accounts.

• Supervising two members of the finance team

• Cashflow and income monitoring
• HMRC submissions
• Assisting with payroll operations
• Preparation of annual balance sheet
• Administering the work place pension scheme
• Deputising for the Finance Manager
