Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Finance and Corporate Services (FCS) Team as an Assistant Finance Manager. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop and strengthen a broad range of skills and competencies, whilst gaining valuable insight into the important work carried out by the agency.
As part of Transport Scotland’s Finance and Corporate Services directorate, the Assistant Finance Manager will work closely with both Finance Managers and Finance Business Partners as well as providing support across the wider finance function, including the accounts payable and financial accounting team.
We are keen to support suitable candidates in working towards becoming fully CCAB qualified and currently have a number of trainees studying towards a relevant qualification.
Success profiles are specific to each job and they include the mix of skills, experience and behaviours candidates will be assessed on.
