This is a key role supporting the financial stability and strategic direction of the school. Whether you\'re balancing professional responsibilities with other commitments or exploring a longer-term role in education, this opportunity offers the chance to make a meaningful difference in a flexible setting.

Responsibilities
  • Support financial planning, forecasting, and budget management
  • Ensure robust financial controls and compliance with school and regulatory standards (e.g., ESFA, DfE)
  • Prepare for internal and external audits
  • Lead on cost-saving strategies and value-for-money reviews
  • Provide financial insight and reports for SLT and Governors
  • Assist with long-term financial strategy and risk management
What They\'re Looking For
  • Qualified Accountant (CCAB - e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIPFA - or CIMA)
  • Strong experience in finance leadership, ideally within a school, academy trust, or public sector environment
  • Knowledge of education funding, budgeting, and reporting frameworks
