Assistant Finance Controller Duties
As the Assistant Finance Controller, you will be a cornerstone of the Finance team, reporting directly to the Finance Controller. Your role will encompass a variety of tasks, including managing the annual budget, leading month-end closure processes, and ensuring compliance with both internal and external financial standards. By partnering with operational teams, you will provide insights that enhance performance while also implementing process improvements that streamline workflows within the department. Your leadership will help foster a culture of continuous improvement and financial integrity across the organisation.

Assistant Finance Controller Requirements

• Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA) with at least 10 years' post-qualified experience.
• Proven background in management and financial accounting, including a history of leading teams.
• Experience with audits, project management, and navigating financial compliance.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, complemented by a highly analytical and detail-oriented approach.
• Willingness to travel between UK sites as required.
