Our client, a well-respected and established organisation based in Norwich, is looking for an Assistant Finance Business Partner to join their dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to further develop their finance career while making a meaningful impact across the business.
As an Assistant Finance Business Partner, you will play a vital role in supporting the organisation's departments by providing financial insight, advice, and analysis. You will contribute to the smooth running of the finance function and help drive continuous improvement across the business.
Working closely with the wider finance team, you’ll assist in ensuring the accuracy of monthly management accounts and the integrity of financial records. You will also liaise with a wide range of stakeholders across the organisation, building trusted partnerships with departmental budget holders and operational teams.
This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys both the technical side of finance and working collaboratively with different areas of a business.
Support the production of accurate and timely monthly management accounts
Maintain and enhance underlying financial records and reporting processes
Partner with departments to provide financial advice, guidance, and analysis
Assist in identifying opportunities for continuous improvement within the finance function
Build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and proactive individual with the following skills and experience:
Good understanding of both financial and management accounting principles
Studying towards AAT
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Highly organised, with the ability to manage deadlines and work independently
A team player with a collaborative approach
