We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Finance Business Partner with a passion for delivering accurate, insightful financial information and supporting effective decision-making across a diverse organisation. Your role will involve working closely with a range of professional service units at London South Bank University (LSBU), helping them to plan, forecast, and manage their budgets effectively.


Working as an Assistant Finance Business Partner at LSBU is a rewarding opportunity to contribute to the financial health and strategic success of the university. You will play a key role in enhancing financial control and planning, supporting colleagues through the budget cycle, and ensuring financial processes are followed accurately. Your efforts will support informed decision-making and strengthen LSBU's ability to deliver high-quality services for students, staff, and the wider community.


Skills & Experience

The ideal candidate must have the following:

  • Part-qualified with a recognised professional accountancy body (ICAEW, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA) or AAT Level 4
  • Experience in a finance role, with a track record of handling complex transactions accurately
  • Strong working knowledge of accounting principles and monthly forecasting processes
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other professional service departments (e.g. HR, IT)

This role is offered on a Permanent and Full time (36 hours a week) basis.
