Assistant Field Service Technician

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment on-site.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for clients.
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment.
  • Document service activities and maintain accurate records of work performed.
  • Collaborate with senior technicians to ensure timely and effective service delivery.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations while on-site.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Relevant technical qualification (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds) in engineering or a related field.
  • Candidate who have worked in utilities or similar
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Proficient in using diagnostic tools and software.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Willingness to travel to client sites as required.

Standard hours are 40 and these are generally worked 10 hours Monday - Thursday with an early finish on Friday however overtime is available. You are required to be part of a 1 in 6 week rota to work a backshift.

Basic 26863 with OTE of 35k plus


This is a fantastic opportunity to learn and develop within the business. Driving licence is required.
