Are you a hands-on, dynamic individual with a passion for agriculture? We are currently seeking a dedicated Assistant Farm Manager to join our client’s team in Kent, playing a key role in leading an experienced team towards continued success and efficiency in both conventional and organic farming practices.

Our client is a truly vertically integrated grower to marketing organisation. What sets them apart is that they manage the entire process from seed to shelf, via growing through to production and marketing. The business is at its heart a family-led business with very strong values for its people, its customers and its suppliers as well as enormous respect for the environment and nature.

Key Responsibilities For The Role:

  • Crop Focus: Manage and major on Conventional and Organic Salads, alongside arable crops.
  • Team Leadership: Lead a small, dedicated team of 6 full-time staff and oversee 100 plus seasonal staff.
  • Health & Safety: Take charge of Health and Safety leadership, ensuring a safe working environment for all team members.
  • Efficiency & Growth: Promote growth and efficiency within the business, utilizing your skills and experience in crop management and delivery to a program.
  • Daily Presence: Maintain a daily presence on the farm, leading by example and offering continuous support to the existing team.
