Job Description

Dalkia UK have a fantastic opportunity for an Assistant Facilities Manager to join our team working onsite for our client EDF's showcase residential training and conference centre Cannington Court in Somerset.

Hours of Work:

  • 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday

About the Role

  • You will manage a staff team, ensuring efficient and effective management of planned preventative maintenance (PPM's) programs, statutory compliance, and cost-saving initiatives, as well as ensuring the overall effective running of the site
  • You'll lead the day to day delivery of our overall facilities services and operations, deputising for the Facilities Manager and the Front of House Manager in their absence
  • You'll work in a unique and beautiful residential venue - incorporating a restored Grade I Listed former Priory, with contemporary finishes, energy-efficient principles and advanced technology throughout

Responsibilities

  • Be the face to face first point of contact / 'go to' for the client, their employees and visitors
  • Planning and day-to day management / co-ordination of the site facilities teams and subcontractors
  • Ensure the client's site is fully compliant with all H&S / statutory legislation
  • Ensure service provided is compliant with contractual SLA's / KPI's and meets and exceeds client expectations
  • Undertake administration including basic finance – invoicing and raising purchase requisitions
  • Actively build relationships with key stakeholders, building a deep understanding of our clients’ needs in order to exceed expectations

Essential Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar management capacity
  • Experience / knowledge of facilities management
  • Experience in a customer facing environment
  • Own transport (there is no public transport to the site location)
