Job description

Assistant Fabric Technologist for TU Clothing. Working within an international team, you will provide technical support to Design, Buying, and Garment Technology teams. You should have a Degree level or equivalent qualification in fabric or another textile discipline, or industry/retail experience in this area. The role includes reviewing and approving test reports, fabric specifications, and certifications. You will participate in development meetings with Clothing Teams, help risk assess, and develop products, including new innovations and promotion of products meeting the business Plan for Better initiatives. Additionally, you will source products and have opportunities to meet fabric mills, visit UK trade shows, and suppliers. We are looking for an enthusiastic, proactive, self-motivated team member willing to learn and take on new challenges.
