4Site Recruitment Ltd. is seeking an Assistant Estimator for a high-end residential bid team in North London.

The role involves supporting the preparation of tender submissions, reviewing drawings and specifications, and assisting with cost estimates to help win prestigious projects. You will carry out measurements and obtain quotes from subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring accurate costing and timely tender submissions.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in estimating or pre-construction within construction.
• Good understanding of construction costs and tendering.
• Strong attention to detail and numerical skills.
• Organised, motivated and keen to develop.

Location: North London

Salary: £35,000 £55,000 + package

This is a good opportunity for someone looking to develop their estimating experience within an established team, working alongside a Pre-Construction Manager and Senior Estimator on a range of tenders.

You'll be involved in the tendering process from reviewing drawings and specifications through to obtaining subcontractor quotations, putting together cost estimates and helping prepare tender submissions.

The business is keen to bring in someone who wants to learn, take on more responsibility and build a long-term career in estimating, with the opportunity to progress into a Senior Estimator role.
