We have an opportunity for a Roofing Surveyor to join a fast-growing roofing company that designs and installs high-quality roofing systems throughout the UK.

The Role - Roofing Surveyor
As a Roofing Surveyor, you will review roofing tender packages, survey both pitched and flat roof areas, liaise with sub-contractors, and put together comprehensive bids.

You will be office and site-based - must be happy to travel.

Specific Responsibilities Include:

1. Review Tender Packages: When receiving a new tender, you will need to review the package and understand the project requirements, including understanding the specification for the roofing works and getting the best prices for materials, access facilities, and subcontractor works.
2. Site Survey: You will attend a site and conduct full measured surveys to ascertain the nature of the roofing works required, ranging from domestic properties for private clients to large office buildings for local authorities.
3. Preparing the Bid: You will be required to complete take-offs and put together comprehensive estimates for the roofing and associated works.

Applicant Requirements for Roofing Surveyor:

1. We welcome applications from experienced Roofing Surveyors as well as construction personnel looking to move into the role. You will have some experience of working in the construction industry.
2. Current and valid UK Driving License.
3. GCSE in Mathematics grade C (4/5) or above is essential.
4. Good IT skills.
5. Good work ethic.
6. Confident communicator.
