Opportunity for an Assistant Estimator to join a long established, cash rich, award-winning Main Contractor who undertake new build and refurbishment projects.

The company works across most sectors including education, health, student accommodation, residential, hotels, industrial, and retail - with a focus on new build projects.

The Role

They are looking to recruit an Assistant Estimator who wants to progress to an estimator. You will be office-based in Bury St Edmunds, with travel across East Anglia, Southeast & Midlands for site visits.

You will be working for the Group's national clients in the retail and leisure sectors e.g. Tesco, Waitrose, Primark, and Premier Inn. These projects on the retail side are generally store refurbishment/fit outs along with the leisure projects being extensions and conversions for Premier Inn.

Most of their work comes from frameworks they have with the clients, so a large proportion of work is negotiated. It is important to establish long-term relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors/suppliers.

2 years of Assistant Estimator experience.
