About the role:

The Role

London and South East Colleges is looking for an Assistant Estates Officer and Driver to support the Estates Operations throughout the College.

As a member of the Estates department, the Assistant Estates Officer will be part of a team with collective responsibility for all buildings and external areas of the sites in the delivery of all estates service.

The role will undertake or assist in undertaking all relevant activities to deliver estates services in line with our SLA standards, targets and frequencies as highlighted in the job description.

Skills and Experience

You will have hands-on experience of Estates and Facilities activities and functions, including event and room setups, opening and closing the building, and general experience in maintenance equipment and decorating, carpentry, lighting, and plumbing with the ability to work in accordance with the College's health and safety procedures.

You will have good literacy and numeracy skills and be able to communicate in a calm and professional manner with students, staff, and visitors at all levels. You will have a Health and Safety Qualification or be willing to complete this as part of your professional development.
