Assistant Engineering Manager Off-Track

At a time of development and upgrade of the Tyne and Wear Metro system, an exciting opportunity has arisen within our track engineering team. The role will have wide-ranging responsibility for managing Infrastructure compliance through a range of Off-Track Asset Management activities, including Vegetation, Lineside Boundaries, Lineside Drainage, and Road Rail Access Point upkeep across approximately 56 route km of Nexus Infrastructure.

Qualifications and Experience

1. An HNC, higher, or equivalent qualification in Arboriculture, Civil Engineering, or a related field, or demonstrable extensive experience in Railway Off-Track Asset Management.
2. Knowledge of the Railway Industry and proven technical expertise in the Departmental Asset Management Portfolio within an Off-Track Railway Engineering Discipline.
3. A full current UK driving licence is essential.
