Located on Baker Street, our childcare service is an important part of the tight-knit Kaniva community in the West Wimmera region.
We have a permanent part-time opportunity to join our Early Learning team and help ensure we provide a safe, stimulating, and supportive environment for children in small group sizes in our long day care service.
You will play an important role in assisting our Room Leaders and other qualified educators to provide social and educational activities that foster a child's sense of belonging, resilience, kindness, and teamwork.

Work part-time, 20 hours per week, 5 hours per day, Tuesday to Friday, covering staff lunch breaks and the Service Leader program and planning.
In addition to the base hourly rate and superannuation, you’ll also receive 17.5% leave loading and the ability to increase your take-home pay by accessing up to $15,900 in salary packaging benefits that can be used on rent, mortgage repayments, or living expenses such as groceries, bills, clothing, streaming services, and more.

You are a motivated Educator with a passion for your work. Working well within a team, you are known for having an energetic and positive approach to your day-to-day responsibilities.
Holding a Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care (or equivalent), you have a solid knowledge of early learning quality and educational frameworks.
