Salary: £54,000 - £64,250 plus London Weighting depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.

Location: Office Base is London Broadcasting House. This is an office based role.

The Curation team in Digital Output is looking for an assistant editor for front pages on a permanent basis to work alongside the existing assistant editor.
The successful candidate will share day-to-day responsibility for curating one of the most popular and respected destinations on the internet - the BBC News front page.
You will help lead a team of senior journalists who manage the front page and BBC News app. You will be a leading voice in creating and delivering a vision for the UK and international pages, working with teams across BBC News to present the best of our coverage to our vast daily audiences and to reach and grow our underserved audiences.
