Responsibilities

As an Assistant Ecologist, your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting ecological surveys, including Phase 1 habitat surveys and protected species surveys.

Assisting in the preparation of ecological reports, impact assessments, and mitigation strategies.

Supporting senior ecologists in delivering high-quality ecological consultancy services.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

A Field Identification Skills Certificate (FISC) at Level 3.

A degree in Ecology, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.

A good understanding of UK habitats and species, including protected species legislation.
