Job summary

Brown & Co is seeking a motivated Assistant Ecologist with 2–3 years’ professional experience to join our growing team in the UK. You will support the delivery of ecological surveys, assessments and reports across a diverse range of projects.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Ecology, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
  • 2–3 years’ consultancy or industry experience (including placements or graduate roles).
  • Good knowledge of UK wildlife legislation and planning policy.
  • Experience supporting ecological surveys and report writing.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Proactive, with a willingness to learn and develop; a full UK driving licence.

Core working hours are Monday – Friday 9.00am – 17.30pm.
